To our valued readers, contributors, advertisers, and supporters,

I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the delay in publishing the July–September 2026 edition of Big Game Hunter Magazine.

Many of you have been eagerly awaiting this issue, and I understand the importance of keeping our publication on schedule. Unfortunately, circumstances beyond my control have made this impossible.

My beloved son, Bill Hossack, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. His loss has been devastating to our family, and during this incredibly difficult time I have needed to step back and focus on family matters while coming to terms with this profound grief.

Big Game Hunter Magazine has always been more than just a publication to me—it is a passion and a commitment to a community that I deeply value. However, in recent weeks, my family's needs and the process of mourning Bill's passing have understandably taken priority.

I appreciate your patience, understanding, and the many kind messages of support that have already been received. Your compassion has meant more than words can express.

Please be assured that work on the July–September 2026 edition is continuing, and every effort is being made to bring you the quality content you have come to expect from Big Game Hunter Magazine. While this issue will arrive later than planned, it will be published as soon as possible.
